The Freedom of Information Act 2000 requires each public authority to produce a publication scheme.
Under Section 19 of the Act, we have a legal duty to adopt and maintain a Publication Scheme. The main purpose of a Publication Scheme is to make information readily available to the public without the need for specific written requests.
The Act and Publication Scheme are intended to encourage organisations to publish proactively, and to develop a greater culture of openness.
The publication scheme is a guide to the information that is held by the Trust. Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS FT's publication scheme has been designed to comply with the Information Commissioner's Office model publication scheme guidance.
You may be able to get the information you require from NHS England, as they publish the monthly data returns such as delayed transfer of care.
