The Den Mural.jpgOur Children and Young People services at Chesterfield Royal Hospital offer a comprehensive range of specialised care that adheres to the National Standards Framework (NSF) for Children Core Standards, ensuring exceptional care and support for children and young individuals.

Children and young people aged 0 to 17 years are cared for at Chesterfield Royal Hospital on our 24-bed Children's Ward, The Nightingale Ward.

We also have a Paediatric Assessment Unit where children are referred to the Emergency Department and any other health professionals. We also have The Den (Children's Outpatients Department) where children and young people access our specialist services such as hearing and physiotherapy services and our Neonatal Unit which cares for premature and poorly babies born at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.
