The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is a group of professionals from a variety of backgrounds, all skilled in working with children and young people with mental health issues. CAMHS teams are multi-disciplinary and contain a wide range of different professionals and skill mixes.
The CAMHS service in North Derbyshire consists of the following professionals:

- Clinical Psychologists
- Child Mental Health Workers
If you are a parent/carer and would like your child to access CAMHS, then please discuss this with your GP, child’s school or any other professional who is involved in supporting you. If they feel CAMHS would be suitable, they can then submit a referral.
