Welcome to #TeamCRH!
On this page, you will find information for our new colleagues.
Let’s begin the journey into helping you to become part of your team, part of the Chesterfield Royal Hospital (CRH) family and where you can begin to actively contribute towards the goals of your team and the Trust. We want you to feel comfortable, included, and an inspired and motivated member of Team CRH.
Thank you for joining us and supporting us to deliver exceptional patient care.
Your induction will take place on your first day at the Trust.
The induction introduces new colleagues to the organisation, the work environment, and their role.
It helps our new colleagues to settle in, feel supported, and learn about the values and culture #TeamCRH.
All colleagues are required to uphold the hospital’s policies. This includes health and safety, confidentiality and equality and diversity.
They are required to attend the mandatory basic training sessions to be equipped for their roles. They are also expected to attend any additional training required.
A lot of this training is done via our online learning platform, Aspire – but this will be outlined in your induction.
Our #TeamCRH Staff App brings together useful information and resources for staff at their fingertips, wherever they are.
It is available to download free to your smartphone and includes quick links to our latest news, payslips, rotas, emails, wellbeing support and much more.
For details on how to download the app, or to give your feedback, contact crhft.
Our car parks work through number plate recognition, with different parking areas for visitors and staff.
All colleagues have a two-week grace period from starting their new role, in which they are not charged for car parking. This is to allow time for new registrations to be input into the system.
Details of how to register for car parking are provided prior to your start date.
Chesterfield Royal Hospital Foundation Trust is pleased to present affordable and quality accommodation for colleagues working or studying at the hospital.
The Trust offers several different grades of accommodation in our own well-maintained facilities.
You’ll be expected to complete the Care Certificate if you’re new to care, employed as an adult social care worker, or providing direct care in a residential or nursing home, a hospice or are a home care worker.
You can also complete the Care Certificate if you’re working in a non-care working role, for example if you work as a cook or a maintenance person.
It might not always be necessary to complete the full workbook if you have worked in care for a period of time. In this instance, you could complete the self-assessment tool.
For help deciding if completing the Care Certificate or the self-assessment tool is right for you, view the Care Certificate Flowchart.
